So I'm fresh out of my last final exam. I had Italian Monday morning, Christian Healthcare Ethics Monday afternoon, my group final for Social Psych due Tuesday Morning, and I just finished my exam for Intro to Sociology, so I'm done!
I'm here until Friday, so I've got some time to pack up and say goodbye to people before we all leave, and I'm happy about that. Last night a bunch of my friends and I went to our friend Emily's house in Essex for "family dinner". We had some good food, good conversation, and an overall good time. It was nice to be able to get away from studying for a few hours and have all of us in the same place to just relax.
You might be wondering about the title? Maybe? At the beginning of the year I learned that sophomores means "wise fools," so since we're finishing our sophomore year this week, I thought it would be clever and appropriate. Anyway, I can't believe I'm halfway done with my college career. This year went soo fast, and I know next year will too with me being in Italy for the first semester and with Erick and my other older friends graduating at the end of second. It's been a great year and I love it more and more here every day, but we're all definitely in need of a nice long summer break, as long as we see each other every so often. I'm trying to make it a point so see everyone at least once more before I leave for the semester, because there's some people I won't see all year if they go abroad in the Spring ( like Sarah :[ ).
So this will be my last official SMC post for the year BUT I will be continuing to blog throughout the summer as I prepare to study abroad, visit SMC friends, and hopefully have lots of fun adventures. So keep reading and I'll keep writing, and to those who don't, check back in next semester while I write, post pictures, and video blog about everything and anything in Italy!
It's been a great year, keep reading!
